How early do you arrive at a conference?

Typically two hours before the first session. I'll do a venue scout, agree positioning with the AV team, and get test shots of the keynote stage and main breakout spaces while they're empty.

Do you cover multi-day conferences?

Yes — most of the conferences I shoot run two or three days. Pricing scales by day, with a discount for consecutive days. Selects are pushed nightly so your team can post during the event.

Can you film keynotes and panels in addition to photography?

Yes. A solo photo + video setup uses two bodies and a small audio rig. For higher-stakes keynotes I bring a second operator so neither feed compromises.

Do you supply same-day social media edits?

Yes — a short edit pack (3–6 photos and a 30-second clip) goes out within four hours of the day's end if booked. Useful for brands wanting to post to LinkedIn while the conference is still trending.

How do you stay discreet on stage and in breakouts?

Mirrorless bodies with silent shutter, fixed primes to avoid zoom whirring, and a positioning plan agreed in advance with stage manager and chair. Speakers rarely notice me.

What if our venue has tricky lighting?

Most corporate venues are mixed-source nightmares. I shoot RAW, balance per-frame in the edit, and bring a small on-camera light only where front-row shots demand it. No flash on stage unless agreed with AV.

Can you work alongside our internal AV team?

Always. Pre-event call with AV is part of the standard run-up — clears positioning, audio capture, broadcast-feed rights, and avoids cross-rig issues.

Do you handle attendee headshots on the side?

Yes — a portable portrait corner with strobe, backdrop and a queue manager works alongside the main shoot. Edits delivered same-day, named per attendee.

What happens if a session overruns?

I stay until the planned brief is covered, with reasonable extensions built into the rate card. For repeated overruns we agree a per-hour add-on rather than skipping the close-out.

How are deliverables licensed?
